Pretty Cool, Huh?

As I was putting the finishing touches on the picture yesterday, I realized that I should have put this up for the Maltese strip, but ah well. As I’m sure you can guess, I have not finished the next storyline strip… or the one after that. But if I’m lucky, I can finish them both this weekend, and you’ll be treated to two strips of story-packed adventure on Tuesday and Thursday. Until then, have a nice weekend!

Where in the World Is Darren?

Probably the question everyone was asking for the past week.

Sorry about that, really. See the last (now properly updated post) for details about that.

But yes, I am now back home in the beautiful Bay Area, doing what I do best: running around looking for a job and pretending like I actually know what I’m talking about. It’s a lot of fun, actually.

As far as T.J. artwork here, I think it’s one of his better ones…at least as far as he’s concerned. I look NOTHING like I do in real life (although I’d be somewhat intrigued by the notion of looking like Christopher Walken). However, I do dig the idea of wearing a trenchcoat and fedora.

LOVE that hardboiled outfit. Always have ever since I was little kid watching “Where on Earth Is Carmen Sandiego?” The look is just so very stylish and, dare I say, sexy. Unfortunately, T.J. definitely wears the outfit a lot better than I do in this picture…price I pay for having someone draw FOR me I guess. :P

On the plus side though, neither of us could probably pull off the look in real life being two short Asian men.

Oh well.
